My Druid from WoW, Nyyght, showing off her catform. X3 (This was drawn before the addition of new druid fur colors--when all druids were sort of a purple/blue).
About 5-6 hours to make in Photoshop. I was experimenting with a new gradient technique (for shading).
Nyyght is mischievous and playful. I was trying to capture that in this picture. :3
Night Elf/Druids are a registered trademark of Blizzard/World of Warcraft.
Nyyght would totally go all wide eyed, lock onto that ball of yarn, and tumble about on the floor with it for hours--as if she were locked in an eternal battle with a valiant foe. X3
It was actually my very first attempt at using the gradient coloring effect.
Where I would normally just color her a flat blue/purple, I switched things up and did a gradient that faded from blue to a darker shade of purple... and did sections of her with it to give the shading a softer look. :3
I didn't use the new line technique on her, but I still really like this pic. X3
Oh, and she LOVES being petted. She has been known to stalk people around the city for pets/scratches behind the ear. It can be unnerving for the level 20-somethings. XD Having a level 80 druid stalking them for no apparent reason.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
